The attorneys of Plunkett Cooney's Trusts & Estates Practice Group advise personal representatives and trustees on the administration of estates and trusts, guiding them on all aspects of fulfilling the fiduciary responsibilities that could arise in connection with the probate and estate administration process.

The firm’s representation in these matters includes assistance in filing the necessary legal documentation to initiate and then later conclude the probate process, notifying creditors and handling the payment of the decedent's debts, distributing the assets of the estate in accordance with the decedent's wishes, preparing and filing the decedent's estate tax return, and settling estate tax matters.
