AI is no longer just a science fiction plot line. It is already at work in the healthcare industry, and experts are working to harness its power to do the most good. We have assembled a prestigious panel to discuss where AI is today and where it will likely lead us in the future.

Telemedicine Update
Presenters: Richard J. Gianino

A lot has changed since last year’s panel discussion on telemedicine. This session focused on some of the critical updates attendees need to know about new telemedicine regulations and its expanded use within the healthcare industry.

Millennials in Healthcare
Guest Speaker: Alicia Rainwater, The Center for Generational Kinetics

Alicia Rainwater will take the podium to provide insights on the impact of millennials in the healthcare industry. Whether working in the healthcare industry itself or serving as jurors in court, millennials are making an impact. This session helped you earn how to unlock the power of this generation.

State Investigations & Licensing Issues
Presenter: D. Jennifer Andreou

Instinctively, we all know that when someone announces: “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help,” the opposite is likely true. Dealing with state investigations and licensure actions can be daunting for any healthcare provider. This session provided you with the dos and don’ts when someone from the state comes calling.

Legislative & Case Law Review
Presenters: Robert G. Kamenec

This popular segment of our annual seminar is back to discuss and review new legislation and case law. The new legislation that expands the scope of practice for NPs and physician assistants was discussed, as well as our appellate law expert covered the highlights of pertinent legislation on damages and case law, so you left up to speed with all the key issues.

Intended Audience

This seminar was designed to benefit physicians and other healthcare practitioners, healthcare executives, risk managers, medical liability insurance providers and members of legal affairs.
