New DOL Regulations for White Collar Exemptions
(and Maybe PMLA, if Michigan Supreme Court Rules in Time)

Originally Held: November 7, 2019
Time: Noon to 1:15 p.m.

Program Description:

Following a recent Department of Labor (DOL) announcement, employers have less than three months to get their Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) houses in order when it comes to classifying employees. Effective Jan. 1, 2020, there will be salary threshold increases and rules applicable to the salary basis test for administrative, executive, professional and computer employees.

During this complimentary webinar, our Labor & Employment Law Practice Group attorneys provided participants with an overview of the state of the DOL regulations for white collar exemptions.

This free webinar focused on:

  • New minimum salary thresholds for white collar exemptions
  • New minimum thresholds for highly compensated employees
  • New rules for added compensation for exempt employees
  • Other special features of the new FLSA regulations
